    Hi Spenc...

I host my pictures on another webserver (either my own webspace, or through a service like Flickr or Photobucket).

I find it easier to do through my own webhosting service... I upload the photo to my webserver, making note of the file name and path. (Usually, on my webserver, it'll be something like http://www.linuxlibrarian.org/wp-content/filename.jpg)

To insert the picture, click on the little picture of the tree up above this input area... Then paste in the URL where your picture is located...

    Voila!

Or, if you're using Flickr, upload your pictures, click on the picture you want to upload, click on the "all sizes" link, select the appropriate size of your image (usually, to be friendly, you don't want anything more than 600X600 pixels). Down below you'll see lines of code. Cut and paste the appropriate code. Insert THAT code into the box that comes up when you click the little tree image above.

That should work for Flickr... Though I've never actually tried it with Flickr on this type of BBS myself.

I hope that was clear. ;) If not, let me know where you're stuck... I'll see if I can make myself clearer (too early in the morning.)

You can also hit the browse button next to "file attachments" near the bottom of the posting window...large files won't upload so you'll need to resize before using that feature.

FWIW, you do NOT need to resize photos hosted at another site as the PC software will automatically resize to fit the window.

That black is one classy looking car, I've seen a bunch of white ones out there that didn't appeal to me as much, but that black looks great.
