Finally our prius is here...

    Hi All :) ,

    Here we are again after a long gap....

    We are glad to inform you all that we got our prius delivered yday. It was really a wonderful moment and happened in a flash. We had ordered it 20 days back.:eek: Due to some problem it got delayed and finally yesterday our dealer called us and told that our car was ready to go. :rolleyes: So now we have our prius at home and that to before the deadline for tax credit gets over. it's 2008 model, pkg#2, magnetic gray and as a matter of fact this is our 1st car. So there are lots of reason to celebrate. :D We are now in the prius familly. This site is really a wonderful site. It helped us in many ways to take this decision. So thanks to everybody. We will be around all the time.

    Yay! Enjoy it to the fullest.

    Try to resist the urge to go out and gaze lovingly at it in the garage/driveway every five minutes... The neighbors thought we were fruity with our 2004. :)

    I also recieved my new '08 Prius today! Got package #6, Barcelona Red. It feels sooooooooooo good. Even the smell is perfect. When I finally got back into town my family was wondering why i wasn't smiling and it was because i had been smiling the entire time i drove home and my mouth was cramped :p

    This must be the week of the 2008 Prius!!!! The dealer is delivering my Red '08 Touring Pkg #6 Thursday of this week. Can't wait!!!! I can't believe it came so fast as I only put down a $500 deposit order on it the last week of August.

    Hey Sliderule, which dealer did you use? I ordered a silver pine mica in July which should be here this week, but I haven't heard from my salesman yet. Just wondering....

    Our Prius is here!!! We ordered the 08 Touring Black #6 August 21. The dealer emailed me a few minutes ago and I'm waiting a phone call.
