ipod mod stopped working

    installed the ipod mod (very simple just plugged it into the back of the radio as described) and it worked fine all day. got up this morning to go to work and all I get is no disk. both number 2 switches are down on the modul as I read here they have to be. What am I doing wrong? any and all info is appreciated. thx

    Check all your connections...in fact unplug the long thin one on the DICE (that is what you have, right?) and plug it back in.
    The device is buggy and hangs and does weird stuff. Usually unplugging that one plug will do the trick.
    If yours isn't working at all I'd wonder if your plug at the back of the radio wasn't all the way snug and came disconnected.

    Well what kind of kit did you get the Dice one or another . One thing I can tell you if you got a Dice and have an 07 Prius they have a bug in the unit that makes it shut down after playing for a bit. I went too Dice and had them run some test with my Prius and they are working on the problem I did find that if I put it back in cd changer mode instead of Sat mode I can get it too play fine. But when you are in changer mode you can't see name of songs. Hope this helps you some

    thx for the suggestions I will try on my way home from work. Yes I have the one with the cable that looks like an s video cable coming from the module. By the way its an 08 prius

    I know the bug is with 07-08 prius you can call and talk with Adam at Dice that is the person I'm working with. Sounds like the same bug I'm having with y prius and Dice. They hope too have an updated firmware within the next few weeks too fix Sat mode.
