I want to integrate my ipods into my system and use all funtions and read/select song lists....
Ok I've done my research and am totally confused!!!

which system gives you the most for the least, I have 2005,with Cassette/6CD/JBL/AM/FM with Nav..

I also saw a photo of an installation using the storage space below the radio....but can't find it now...anyone know where it is??

    thanks

my car's identical except I have no nav and I have the DICE. It's about 1/3 the cost of a VAIS so if it's pure cost, then DICE wins.

    umm.. check the KB?? :)

does it do everything it claims? play lists, sterring wheel control, and can you still use your ipod when it's connected?

I have the VAIS SLI and SLX and can tell you I don't think either have ever crashed on me. I certainly have never had to pull the fuse to reset it. I can also confirm it works perfectly with an iPhone.

The firmware is user upgradeable, which I have done, though it did require me to buy a USB interface.

acornblues answered it for me. It's knowledge base

Yep. I only have 7 playlists though. You can control the volume, track, album, playlist via the steering wheel. The passenger can use the iPod directly if you wanted to and you can use the buttons on the dashboard as well.

It shows (if you've labelled them correctly) artist, album in "DISC" and the song title in "TITLE"
