Prius on CSI Miami

Did the fuzz trade in their hummers? Or were the perps driving it?

 

They also had one on the 1st regular CSI

Yup, and "Weeds," and "Pushing Daisies," and "Californication," and just about every opportunity the film and television community gets a chance to push green they do. It's my belief that they might consider pushing OTHER benefits of the hybrid and have better results. Branding it "green" is a turn-off to many perspective buyers who might otherwise consider its fly-by-wire (future) technologies, lifecycle costs, comfort, economy, etc., as additional benefits. Just an opinion.

You're right for the most part. However, I think you slighted some of the Showtime shows. "Weeds" pushed the Prius further by mentioning how quiet the Prius is. It's ideal for drive-bys on rival drug gangs. :blink: "Californication" mentioned how smug celebrity environmentalists drive hybrid/electric cars and fly off in private jets. BTW, "green" is in.

Lousie Parker's been driving the Prius since *I* started watching the show and, let's not forget, it's dark comedy. At least... I find it funny. Maybe too real?
Green may be in within some circles--so's monogamy but nobody can prove it--but it's not what entices 'converts' over to the green side. Not everyone is enamored with the green lifestyle, but can be encouraged by showing them how their pocketbooks are put in play.

What's the monthly cost of operating a Prius versus operating an F-150 4X4? Jeeze, how about a Suburban? Let's not forget parking. Care and feeding alone got my attention. Now, I admit I'm not a graduate of Lymes, NH public schools (I actually graduated from Vermont public schools and a few subsequent universities), but saving over $250/mo JUST IN GAS was enough to get my attention.

Yup, I saw that and thought maybe they were trying to save some money by trading in one of those Hummers for a Prius. Actually the guy who had the Prius was no longer a CSI team member, he's become a contractor, no longer dependent on taxpayers so no more blank check.

Usually when MythBusters is out in the parking lot shooting off things you can spot a Prius.

I never considered green before buying my 07 Prius. It never entered my mind untill my wife called me a tree hugger about 3 days after I bought it! I was so upset with my 06 PT Cruiser and the lousy gas mileage I was getting is the reason I bought the Prius. I actually have doubled my gas mileage from the PT. I live in Florida and haven't turned off the AC since april when I bought it

Last night I saw the movie, "Kicking and Screaming" on TV. In the movie the main character had a blue Prius. He pulled up in front of his house in it and his kids went in while he sat in the Prius talking with his wife.

 

the one on csi miami is the same one that was on the csi vegas

they tape the show at universal studios hollywood

When we went there a month ago you could see some of the actors walking around when they took you through the tour


i do know that they do shoot some of miami stuff in florida too. i went to aventura florida and talked to some of the people who live there and they told me where the police station was and stuff way c ool.

But yea wolfs prius is the same color as sara sidels prius. I noticed it when dh said hey how did sarah's prius get in the hands of ryan wolf ?

I am a CSI fan i just dont like csi new york
