    I stand corrected.

That was so much fun, I have changed my sigfile to incorporate it permanently.

And yes, I did have too much time on my hands the other day.

I would have discribed #2 as, not a resize, but as a

Warp Coil Upgrades for increased vector stabilization during warp flight and increased effectiveness in hazardous nebulas and ion fields.

    good stuff though :p

All the added features are handy, but you didn't mention all the cool standard-issue features of the Prius-class shuttlecraft (This is from the brochure that the Ferengi I bought mine from gave me, so who knows if it's true?!):
The Ferengi who sold me mine also charged me extra because he said he had, against Starfleet regulation, installed a stealth device that could be activated by careful manipulation of the throttle. He then proceeded to sell me (for a pretty unreasonable price, I might add) a stealth interface component that makes stealth easier to use, and more consistent in its operation. It turns out that the stealth system AND the interface were actually manufactured by Starfleet, but because of existing Fedration treaties, they can't make it available to starship captains in this quadrant. So if you run into a Ferengi named Ozek, punch him in the ears for me.

You're right. I missed it. It will be duly noted int Bob64's Starfleet Personnel Record.

I have some of the specifications printed up in a Publisher file, that I have taped to the window of the shuttlecraft, er. attached to the lateral port via a semipermanent adhesive polymeric sheet strip.

    More standard features:

    External ambient kinetic energy sensor.

    Modular cargo bay.

Comm-link for shipboard use of hand-held communicators.

Voice-responsive computer. (But damn, don't I wish I could just say "computer" to engage the voice system instead of pushing that button!... and I wish that Majel Barrett's voice was in there ;) )

And you must have the emergency destruct mechanism, right? Explosive charges installed in both the pilot and navigator positions, as well as along upper edge of the access ports.

I've done up a relatively short [?] page about our Altwheels
    experience, at http://techno-fandom.org/~hobbit/pix/aw07/ which
also points out to other fun bits some of you have seen already.
    .
Normally the delicate engineering work done to upgrade starship
propulsion systems is strictly off-limits to unauthorized personnel
due to radiation hazards and Klingon spies and other factors, but
here's your opportunity to get a rare glimpse into what happens
down on those decks! You can also see some of the training
materials we use at the Academy to turn the finest cadets into
the top-notch engineering crews you'd really want to have along
on your own missions -- the guys and gals that can find you the
loopholes in the laws of physics on a routine basis and think
    nothing of it.

    Might I also suggest.

Crew Cabin: Enhanced nano-ceramic spectral rejection shielding for primary forward, aft, and lateral view stations.

But so much of what Gene Roddenberry (?sp) had in his original Star Trek of the 60's is now mainstream. Talking computers, handheld communicators, shuttlecraft, wireless ear buds, lasers and a lot of the medical equiptment that Bones used to name a few. He was way ahead of his time.

well my next question was if you'd ever kissed a girl but i think you answered that. LOL

i love star trek too and could probably give u a run for your $$$ in trivia but turning your car into a shuttlecraft. that's a little over the top.

trivia question: in "generations" at the end of the movie picard and riker beam up to what ship and what is the significance of the name of this ship in relation to the rest of the story?

Ha ha! Nice tie-in to Star Trek parody. Did GatorJoe miss the reference? :p
