I need to change the fog light bulb on my 2006 Prius and I can't figure out how to get the old bulb out. Can anyone help?

Greetings. I started by removing the 10mm hex head bolts, in front of the wheel well that hold the black plastic shields in place. I was able to pull the shield back away from the bumper. Using a flashlight, you should be able to see the electrical connector for the fog light. Do not remove this connection yet. You need to rotate the bulb-connector assembly clock wise. If you try to turn it counter clockwise, it will not move. Rotating the assembly unlocks the bulb. After it is release it will pull straight back. You can then disconnect the electrical connector, change the bulb and reinstall. I may be incorrect in the direction of rotation, but am sure that it only turns one way. Good Luck.

Note that I changed my bulbs to a 'whiter' color a few years ago that match the HIDs much better...you might consider doing the same since you're probably going to have to change the other bulb soon anyway since one has already burned out.
