I actually think this one would work well, don't you, Darell?

I learned my lesson. Got a heart with my first wife's name on my arm. Finally, after being married for 10 years to my second(final) wife, I had to get it covered up with a huge tat.

What I've learned is to not put anything with a name or a brand, because things change. Even if you put the technology ( hybrid ) , who knows what will be in 10 years ? Could be that all cars become 3 dimensional transports and photosynthesise, then you'll be stuck with that nasty old hybrid technology.

Of course, if you want your body to be a historical mosaic, then go for it. Otherwise, don't give it another thought. :)

It's not a tattoo, but Bill Merchant has the hybrid emblem embedded in his forehead.

The power symbol obviously has other meaning besides for the Prius, but I think it's cool, i would probly put it somewhere on my back.

As far as the "questionable art" comment. I would not put "questionable art" on my body. that's the point you do it because it means something to you. Some do put "questionable art" and it's a free country. Some way, shape or form it means something to that person. You don't have to agree, we are all different. I'm actually quit conservative, my ink is not visible without my shirt off or tank. It's personal.

An EXCELLENT choice! All that black looks painful though. Maybe a negative image!

Wouldn't the *ultimate commitment* be having the SK fob surgically implanted?

Or maybe getting buried in your Prius...

Sounds like a permanent solution to a temporary problem to me. Better then the ultimate die for the car commitment of course.

I can think of some people I would love to have do certain things to my body. But putting permanent pictures on it is not one of them. I hang art on my walls. After a few years I put different art up. Can't do that with a tattoo! In jail I saw a lot of guys with tattoos. Some were genuine works of art. But I would not even want those on my body for the rest of my life!!!. Others were badly-done scribbles, apparently done while both the tattooer and the tattooee were drunk.

When I was a kid we used to apply those fake tattoos that last a few days and then fade or wash off. And some of the face painting you see at street fairs can be sort of nice.

But permanent??? Not on your life! And as others have pointed out, technology changes, and in a decade Prius will not seem like environmental leadership. It will just seem like (to paraphrase Darell above) "Hey! Woo hoo! I'm burning gas! Look at me!"

No tattoos here! But...my friends and I made this new music video for their band's song "Hey Now!" and it has a scene with Al Gore and Leonardo DiCaprio driving a Prius in Hollywood ;)

    It's pretty hilarious.
