    Just a quick thanks to Troy; I would highly recommed going through him to get the "offcial" Toyota extended service contract, the best price I found anywhere!!!!

    Yes I went through warrantyshack (good to know the site gets a little back!)

    and to answer the $ question, I opted for the 6 years/75k for $590.00

    So, a question. I bought my Prius yesterday (in Canada), and they offered the ECM (7 years) for an additional $2,000. I said I could buy it in the US for far less than that, and they told me that the American Toyota ECM is only valid in the US. The Canadian extended warranty covers us in both Canada and the US.

    Anyone know anything about that?
