I have an idea, and would like to see who else here, may be interested in a possible Prius Chat meet next month. I will be heading up to the Denver area to visit family, and would like to get an opportunity to meet a few of the fellow PC people up there. Any takers? I would be looking at holding it on either the 18th or 19th, depending on what is planned with the folks, who of course, get first dibs on my time as this is my Thanksgiving/Christmas/Birthday visit all rolled into one with them.

One idea for a meeting place could be Johnny's Diner, on the corner of Iliff, and Havana in Aurora. It's a 60's themed burger joint. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated, so that any vegans in the group could also be served. Of course, we wanna keep the meet family friendly so that kids and couples can attend.

    Any takers?

Wow, I might go as far as Denver but not in December. Any trip of that length would not be in a holiday month! A local meet OK, but not more. On second thought I would love to see a map of the actual distribution of Prii in the US. Not by delivery site but by zip code of buyer. We then pick the geographic center of Priidom and have a meet there. Sort of like the Harley meet?!

So far, it's been the same with this one. You are the first to bite. I know we have several Denver area Prius owners on the board.

C'mon Colorado, Wyominng, or anyone else willing to take a trip, How about a little gathering?

We do this kind of thing on the Mercedes forums all the time, and they are alot of fun.

Due to an apparent lack of interest in setting up a PriusChat meet, and due to updated information regarding family plans during my time in Colorado, I'll be shelving this idea. The Saturday that I had mentioned, will be spent with family at the Trail Dust Steakhouse, and Sunday for me will be a HUGE family dinner at my folks house. Looks like I won't be getting much of an opportunity to lose a few pounds on this trip, like I did on my Key West ride. Oh well.

Of course, if other Denver area Prius owners who have not posted on this thread, are still interested in a meet, please go ahead and plan one. We do these types of gatherings quite often in the Mercedesshop forums, and they are a blast. It's a great way to put faces to the names, and show off our rides.

Don't worry, there are still waiting lines at the local (Denver) Toyota dealers for the Prius. I know because I'm still on one (Stevinson Toyota) and have been for 9 months. At least I've got my 2004 Super White to keep me company while my wife's 2005 Driftwood Pearl is only a month or two away. I would imagine that as more and more folks 1) get their Prii, and 2) log in to find out more about them as I have and discover this site, you'll have no problem getting large numbers of folks to attend a gathering.

    Cheers,
    Powers.

I'm a new Prius owner in Denver - I've had my Tideland Pearl for 2 weeks now and love it! I called around to all the dealerships and ended up getting mine from Mountain States Toyota - total wait time was 2 weeks, but that's because I wasn't picky about the color - and it turned out well, because I love the Tideland Pearl color!
