Playa del Rey, CA (a beach/airport community in Los Angeles) 2004 Prius, option package 9, Tideland Pearl (gray, not green). I love it. Previous: 1994 Saturn SL. I never loved it - it was just transportation.
Cambridge, Massachusetts We got our Driftwood Pearl at Lexington Toyota a week ago. I've been reading about the Prius since before it came out in Japan. I'm the fanatic about all of this, but my girlfriend is the one who drives it every day to work. I take the bus. I really want a battery car that I can plug in! I test drove a GM EV1 in California when those were new. I think that a plug in series hybrid car with a tiny engine or turbine to assist on longer drives would be the ideal. Hook me up O Ye Industrial Combines. Many of these cars mentioned in the postings here seem to have arrived on the same boat coming into New York. Isn't interesting to think that our cars have all been partying together on the ship?
Eden Prairie, Minnesota 2004 Prius, Tideland Pearl... number 9 205 miles to date @ 46.1 MPG Previous: 1999 Acura 3.2 TL It just keeps getting batter !

2004 silver #9 ordered 01/10/2004 delivered 02/27/2004 previous: 1999 toyota 4runner st. petersburg, fl
San Diego, CA '04 Millennium Silver #3 picked up 2/7 at MSRP after only a 25 day wait! Have since added the Alarm upgrade and glass breakage sensor plus waterproof seat covers in gray to protect seats from our dogs. Previous car was a '97 Toyota Corolla. On the other end of the spectrum we have an Aerocruiser Motorhome that gets a whopping 8 MPG. Its used sparingly. The Prius is the BEST car we've ever had. (Have had Saabs, an Acura, Pontiacs, etc) Can't imagine ever going back to a non-hybrid!
Previous -- 1990 Nissan Maxima, SE (nice car..but put a lot of miles on it). 2004 Millennium Silver AM Package Picked up 10/27/04 (ordered 8/04) 44.8 mpg, 7,300 miles, 40/38psi VERY cool car. Not the only one in Maltby, WA (unincorporated Snohomish County), have met 2004 Tideland BC #9. Price

Cedar Rapids, IA I ordered a black #9 on 1/17/04 from Iowa City, IA and they said it would be about a year before I get it. :x Meanwhile I'm driving a 1995 Dodge Ram that's getting about 15mpg. ukeleft:
jchu Nampa, ID  Ordered a Salsa Red #7 Wife Couldn't Wait "Called" Around Offered a Black #3 TRAC car from Dealer in Bloomington, MN. Wife flew out Sat and picked it up with 3800 mi on it. Paid less than invoice as dealer considered it a used car. Yes, there are still honest dealers out there. Still waiting for her to get home (with the in-laws). Current vehicles: '90 Honda CRX Si 198,000 mi, and Toyota pickup 147,000 now relegated to "Farm Vehicle".
Location: Hoboken, NJ. Current car: 02 Green Prius, basic package + DRL, side air bags and LoJack. Added: bumpelo's MP3/CD player (currently dead). Talked to a recently opened car stereo place down the street, they think something better can be put inside. Will post an update elsewhere. Old car: 1993 Corolla, Standard features, added a CD player. Was traded in for the Prius after 197K miles - not a bad life even if the trade-in cost was $500 and it was on alternator number four. --TSK
