<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Danny\";p=\"73)</div> Hi! I'm from Columbus, Ohio and got my Prius in October. It's a salsa red package 9. Before this car I had a 99 Mustang Cobra which got about 23 mpg if I was easy on the accelerator I can say it's been very fun driving the Prius. I feel much more relaxed while driving My license plate came off the Cobra. Although it's cute I think I'll do away with "GIDIEUP" once my b-day comes
I am from Munster, Indiana (northwest Indiana). Also to my surprise, there are many prii in stock at dealerships in my area (chicagoland). Does anyone know of any groups of people with Prii in the chicagoland area?
Folks, you are not really cooperating here, Lois and I need your exact address and telephone number so that we can plan our upcoming tour of the US and Canada in our Prius. Please no phony addresses which might confuse our Garmin GPS or phone numbers for the local State Mental Hospital. While we are not too fussy we would like a menu of your normal meals so you do not go to any trouble during our visit. We will baby sit dogs and cats for a night or so but not children ( been there done that but might make exceptions). My wife assures you that you will not be required to entertain me in conversation as I tend to speak without being encouraged.
Mitchell from Hollywood, land of many Prii. Red9, February, 7500m. Motorola v551 BT. Still finding new glove compartments.
New York, silver 2005 with smartkey, side curtain airbag option package. Other two cars are a Jeep Liberty Limited and a Pontiac Sunfire GT Other vehicle is a BMW R1150R Motorrad.----still the most fun. about the same mpg as the Prius.

Wayne from Chicago, 2005 Salsa Red package BC/#6 picked up 10/23/04 in Escanaba, MI. Other car is a 2004 Oldsmobile Silhouette mini-van for those long vacation trips (and to keep good relations with the FIL who works for GM at the Tech Center in Warren, MI.) Traded in a 1997 Pontiac Transport mini-van with 142,000 miles.
What he said Same as above. In fact, we found I bought the previous Salsa Red BC from the same dealer and it was the last 2004 Prius in that color and package. I don't live on the Southwest side of Chicago any more, but I helped build the Orange Line. I live in the only place in Illinois called DG. It has its own bus rush-hour operation (for now). My other car is a diesel operated by Metra (21 miles non-stop every 20 minutes). THEN I can walk to work. -------------- Snow is like s*x. You never know how long it's going to last, or how many inches you'll get.
Austin, TX 2005 Tideland BC/#6 ordered June 30, 2004, picked up Oct 15, 2004 previous car: Honda Civic other car in the garage: Passat wagon (I almost didn't get to be the Prius owner in the household... but my s.o. couldn't wait 3 months to get a Prius b/c he had totalled his car, and he got "outbidded" on Prii he tried to buy)
San Diego 2005 salsa red, package 9 The last car I owned was a 1998 Corolla (purchased in 2002) because I couldn't afford a Prius at the time. It was a good little commuter car that I probably would have driven into the ground had it not been totalled in February. I ended up driving a friend's 1984 Thunderbird for most of this year while I waited for my new Prius.
