    Yeah I have the regular one and it stops after it runs through the playlist. That's normal? I thought it's cycle through again and again.

    Yup, that's normal. Unless you have shuffle on, then it will go forever since there is no 'end'

    Speaking for myself, demand on the upgrade will depend on the price. If it's $20, I'll definitely do it; $100, I definitely won't; somewhere in between, it'd be a possibility.

    I don't know myself either. I was told that is was gonna be on the 'cheap side' - meaning they're not going for a large profit, if any.

    That's the thing, it is on shuffle. At least my iPod is.

    Is there a way to shuffle via DICE? cause the RAND and RPT buttons on the MFD don't do anything.

    Nope, the engineers say there's not a universal place to map shuffle. It has to be the same button for all Toyota's and some of them lack a few buttons.

    So I can't have it play on forever then cause you can't map the RAND button on the screen and using shuffle on the iPod shuffles but doesn't repeat and stops at the last song in that playlist.

    I have a new 4GB Nano (company gift!) and a 2004 pkg 9. The Dice kit is pretty much the only way the iPod would get any use by me, but I'd love to listen to PodCasts on my way to work.

    Does this work equally well with the older generation MDF's ('04-'05)?

    Stay away from this product. I have had it replaced twice now and it still hums, cuts out, disconects ect. A very expensive paperweight.

    Unless you have a BMW, a 'Hum' cannot happen.
    Well, that's not actually true. If you have a iPod with a faulty mechanical HDD that could cause a buzz sound.

    So if you select a playlist, even if the ipod is in shuffle mode, the DICE will not shuffle?

    If you had it in shuffle mode before you plugged it into the car, it will shuffle everything that's selected.

    But it won't repeat? Cause mine's shuffled but it stops once it played every song once.
