the prius is definitely not the right car to turn into a rice-mobile, I suggest a honda civic 2 door or an Acura RSX or Mitsubishi eclipse. The prius is meant for adults, not lead-footed children who just got their driver's license last week, grow up.

I dont appreciate that.. for one thing I am not a child I have been driving for over 20 years.. My last car was a 2000 m5 bmw which i traded it in for the Prius .. It was a adult decision.. just because i said i maybe wanted to get a body kit.. you know that im oriental, a child and have a lead foot?? Im none of the above.. I just wanted to make my prius unique.. I said above "maybe" a body kit. What i want to do for sure is to get tinting done and some wheels tires..
Also i never have put a body kit on a car before never wanted to.. but some of the modelsta and such front rear spoilers look nice.. Also the term "rice-mobile" is racist.. so get that crap out of here..

I asked for peeps to post pictures of black prius not to flame someone who wants to be unique.. I do agree that it could be embarrassing to get the kenstyle but it does look pretty sick in the pictures.. Perhaps its too aggressive for some of you and that is fine..

    USBSeawolf..

Looking good looking tough :) I like the rims I'm thinking black spoked as well or maybe gun metal color.. I also like the wood kit you put in :)

Ideally I don't want to do anything that will drastically change the mpg.. a couple here or there for phatter tries wont bother me.. I'm probably going to go for a wheel/tire combo that is either same weight as stock or Lighter for few more dollars. I checked ur link for all the photos and i likey ;) Thanks for posting photo's and not flaming me lol :D

The statement that it's not the "right" car is simply wrong. In the spirit of increasing mileage via technology, why not get lighter alloy wheels? Why not add an air dam to lower the CD further?

Stiffening the chassis does improve handling, but it may also increase the useful life of the vehicle which means that you cut down on the use of resources to produce another one.

The cool thing about the 1st Amendment is that it guarantees free speech. Your post is proof that it's not a guaranty of quality.

Disclaimer: I've got a black 2008 Prius with the #2 package. Here's what's in the works: Polk speakers/Blaupunkt amp/Kenwood Subwoofer; tinted windows; sharkfin; underbody light kit (that way those SUV guys will not be able to say that they didn't see me); KITT type scanner light (in matching amber - dang if they don't see me drivin' up); Sheepskin seat covers (black); heat/massage unit under the seat covers (I drive 100 miles on my commute); leather kit for armrest on door and the center counsel; weather tech floor mats; Garvin GPS and Ipod Classic - gotta figure out how to get them to display on the video unit that came with the car. I'm 42. 5 kids. A senior attorney for one of the biggest banks in the world. And, for me, modifying this Prius is more fun than fixing up old Volos.
