    Holy Superbowl!

    What a finish!

I like the play where the Giants quarterback escaped four Patriots defensemen who had a hold of his jersey to throw a pass where the receiver managed to catch by pressing it with one hand pushing the ball into his helmet as he was tackled.

All the credit to the Giants...an amazing game I never believed they could have pulled off and I never thought Eli could maintain his composure like that. Amazing.

Living in Indiana and being a Colts fan makes it even more thrilling to see a Manning brother win the Super Bowl this year!

i predicted that brothers quarterbacking their teams to victories in consecutive super bowls was way more exciting than having another undefeated team....

Did anyone else think that the game was much more exciting than the commercials this year?

The MVP award should not have gone to Manning, as good as his performance was. MVP was the NY defensive front line which took Brady out of the game. Had they not succeeded, even if Eli had the same game, the score would have been 48-17 NE.

Toward the end of that last drive, Manning started to get that panicked look on his face, and I kept thinking, uh-oh, here's where he throws an interception. Well he's past that, more the credit to him.

More precise, it was a "Caddy Hybrid (due out this fall)" If I remember correctly. And I think Smith, the rookie, did a phenomenal job.

I almost always root for the underdog. In this case, when I heard that Tom Brady has like 5 illegitimate children and no plans to marry any other the mothers, I immediately turned from him/them. Also, I'm a Hoosier at heart and even though the Colts beat the Bears I celebrated. And having heard how so many people doubted Eli early on, I wanted to see him pull it off.

However, in the office "numbers game" I had the numbers 0 and 4 which is what the score was (10 to 14) prior to the winning touchdown. I paid $10 to play and would have won $150. But only if the Pats won. I'm glad the Giants won.

When they replay that footage, they could play the Superman movie soundtrack when he comes to the rescue - it looked like a superhuman effort by Eli and his receiver.

I thought Brady learned from Romo - never take your girlfriend to the stadium, esp when playing the Giants.

I'm not a football fan - baseball's my game (go Redsox!) - and I'm pretty ignorant about football. I've sometimes watched the Superbowl, but usually find it a deadly dull game. Was it Superbowl XXV where the Bears beat the Patriots so badly that the announcers lost interest in the game and almost missed yet another Bears touchdown in the 4th quarter?

Last night's game, though, was VERY good, though - I had fully expected to fall asleep during the game, but I watched excitedly through the whole game. I agreed with the announcers when they decided that the Patriots had it won in the fourth quarter when there was less than 3 minutes left in the game, but WOW! What a surprise! The Patriots had a better overall season than the Giants, but last night, the Giants definitely WON the game - they didn't just 'luck out'.

Maybe it's time for me to buy a copy of 'Football for Dummies'!

Image the wild celebration with all the players....of the Miami Dolphins undefeated team. I bet the Giants were happy as well.

I bet Mercury Morris will be gloating big time for weeks to come...he was a doubter all along and was quite vocal about the issue.

no, he is not past that... 3 times, new england should have intercepted in the 4th but was unable to...

as far as the MVP, i agree with you 100%. the Giants won only because Brady played like crap and the pass rush was the reason why
