Anyone know when gas stations start pumping out"Summer" fuel in California?

    I'm curious too.

The outside temperature dropped back down to the mid 30's for this tank, yet the value on the Multi-Display has remained in the low 50's. (Yeah!)

That either means my Prius was suddenly visited by the "Break-In Fairy" (at 8,000 miles) or my fill up with gas on Sunday, February 29th was actually the non-winter formula.

Also note that I am using Low-Sulfur E10, so that particular kind of gas might fall into the "other" category.

The last time gas was 79.9 cents per gallon around here was only 3 or 4 years ago, but I think it'll continue to be a fading memory...

    Why the difference?

I gassed up yesterday, and I was pleased to see that I averaged 49 MPG on my hilly, 100 mile round trip work commute. Weather has been warmer the last couple of days so that could account for the increase. I guess I can count on another increase after April.

Unfortunately, the weekend's coming, which means many short trips, and a hit on my MPG. This car is making me dislike weekends. :?

To cut out the smog in LA. Smog tends to linger in cloudy weather, or so I've been told.
