Can I uplug my driver seat connector?

    Will there be any airbag deployment etc. I want to explore the possibilities on moving it back a couple of inches.

    Disconnect your 12v battery if you do decide to unplug it. That's the closest I can come to actually answering your question. Sorry.

    EDIT: I believe others have moved the seats back a couple of inches. IIRC, there was a thread from the spring/summer of 2006 regarding this.

    :) I assumed I could remove the 12v small battery, will have to reset window's, presets, etc. afterward. Just wanted to avoid that step.

    If the ignition is off the airbag system isn't powered up.

    Unplugging the connectors isn't hard, but adding two inches won't be so easy.
