    money you saved on maintenance and oil changes? 5k miles vs 3k miles?

    I love seeing that savings per tank too. My old vehicle got 17mpg.

    I make little charts of mpg for my car. I also calculate a weighted average for the mpg. But, it does not affect the overall mpg too much.

    The other thing a lot of people look at is a running comparison of the MFD mileage vs. calculated. This seems to be the only way to really figure out how accurate your MFD is. Maybe you are already doing this?
