Safety and Technical Issues With A 2008 Prius Touring

    If you put a space after the number you enter(ie. 1984_), the Navigation System will not be able to identify it. It will say "no location exists on that street" or something like that. Make sure you enter only the street number, (ie. 2984) then push "Ok".

    I think the title of this thread is a little deceptive - it seems more a unique situation to this customer than a true safety or technical issue!

    That's what I was thinking. It was a rather careless choice of a title and the OP deserves the flames. :p Not to mention typing with Caps Lock on.

    People are indeed becoming overspecialized and we all know what happens to species that overspecialize... ;)

    On the "my Nav unit doesn't recognize my house" issue...when do you ever need directions to your house? Won't directions to your town suffice? I understand the desire to have the address recognized, but it's not like it's actually a big deal.
