    Hi All,
I was just wondering why nobody has ever mentioned that Subaru wheels bolt straight on to the Prius.
Another thing puzzling me is how silica compound tyres with their claimed superior rolling resistance are never mentioned.
My Prius consistantly returned 900 Kilometres on around 42 litres of fuel on its original Michelin Energy MXV8 195-60*15's, but now, with non silica based Federal 205-50*16 tyres it consistantly returns only 800 Kilometres on the same amount of fuel.
    Big Difference.

There are a lot of wheels that will fit on the Prius. Maybe that is why people don't mention that Subaru wheels will fit. However, I have heard of people speaking of tires with silica.

This is what my Prius would be like with 2007 WRX Wheels

I now have over 2k miles on my Pirelli P4's with silica compound. I took a 2-3mpg hit initally but am now back to my old mpg with the Integrities. They have a 85k warranty and perform well with quiter running noise. I purchased the set at Kauffman tire here in the Atlanta area for $378 out the door price. :playball:

My Impreza has 205-55 x 16 BFG G-force tires on it. I like the tires, and was wondering how they would do on the Prius. I might consider swapping them for a few days and doing a mpg check, before I buy another set for the Prius. Now that I have the Prius, the Impreza mostly sits. It would be a fun test. Conversely, if I put the Integrities on the Subaru, besides looking funny, would it get 50 mpgs, too? Just wondering. My wife's Outback has 205-70 x 15 Costco Micheleins on it. That would be a fun comparison too.

We just put Michelin HydroEdges (from Costco) on our '05.

There's a little hit to the mileage but it's been made up for by the better handling in the snow and rain we've had here in Philly the last couple of weeks.

It cost less to have Costco put the HydroEdges on than it would have cost to have the local dealer put Integrities (blech) on. The local Goodyear store was going to be $50-100 more to put the Tripletreds on, so we went with the Costco option.

So far, no complaints at all.

Really? Not that I don't believe you, but can you post a picture please?

If you have them, that means the parts are available. Right?
