1st week

    I've had my 08 Prius for one week now, and I'm loving it! Still trying to figure out the best way to drive for optimum mpg. The car had 90 miles on it when I drove it off the lot, and it's now got just over 600. My car is Silver Pine Mica in color and a package 3.

    I'm looking forward to learning more about the car on this site. Glad it's here!

    We must have been shopping on the same day! Actually, I have been watching my gauges closely, as well. I am seeing exactly what was reported on this months Consumer Reports magazine (a keeper); 45 mpg average. Very acceptable. In the 500+ miles you have put on, what is your average?

    Using the pulse and glide, I'm currently at 55mpg.

    Welcome to PriusChat, new_owner! There are lots of suggestions here on improving milage. Glad to see a driver from ND! Not too many Prius there.
