I'm seriously considering sometime this month purchasing a 08 prius(Barcelons Red) no package's and no options I currently drive 87miles to work with 15 miles back roads and 70 miles Interstate both are a little hilly.. I currently drive a 92 toyota 4x2 truck gets about 25-27mpg if I baby it.. Would the prius be a good car for my driving conditions? If they have to order it how long does that take?

Absolutely! The price is right, and Prius' get incredible gas milage. It's also a roomy, competent vehicle. The GY Integrity tires suck, big time! Michelin X-Ice are great as are Michelin HydroEdge. That's the only down-side I see.
The ordering depends on how big a volume dealer you work at, because those get more cars allocated to them. Plus dealers fairly near each other often will swap if another one has your car in stock or in transit.
