Saying hello.

Hello all,
Just joined. I have an '02 Prius that just turned over 100K. Has been and is a great car. I had the ECU replaced under warranty at about 20k but no other major problems until a few months ago. A sensor on the steering column went bad and it was an $860.00 repair. Can't complain at 96K. I've been doing my own oil changes after the factory first 7, but haven't had to do much else. I more or less just drive the car and enjoy the better than average mileage. I bought it for the emissions anyway.
Now that it's out of warranty I plan to do my own work as much as possible. I have my first opportunity as when getting my annual state inspection done they found the front left wheel bearing is going. I'll post about that in Care and Maintenance. I need a decent manual but don't want to pay $100 for one. Well I don't want to get off topic so I'll jump. Glad to be here.
