I'd go for a red set. Should have last summer, but better late than never...three chips which could have been prevented.

I may be interested in a set of Salsa reds. Got a picture of these things installed?

At the beginning of this thread is a pic of a Prius with the mouldings installed. Also, my website lists the dimensions of the mouldings.

Checked them out on your website, but I can't find the pic you mentioned that's at the beginning of this thread. Maybe it's because the thread was split?

    [font=Comic Sans MS:9e921477c5]Hi Geoff,
I purchased these side moldings from Dawn Enterprises before Eddie was offering them. Here is a thread with my post and picture as well as the posts and pictures of Bill's car with these same side moldings:

    http://www.priuschat.com/forums/after-mark...ht=side+molding

Here is another thread with a picture of Larry Page's car with the same moldings. All of these are at different heights.

I notice you live on Long Island. I would order these from Eddie, and if you're near Rockville Centre in Nassau County, Give Mid Island Collision a try for installation. They did a great job.

Put me down for a Tideland Pearl set please.

Only 4 more to go (or 3 if Geoff is in).

    Thanks!

Wow, I didnt know my car was so popular!

Just for future reference, I used 8" above the top of the indent on the bottom of the door as a reference to install the moldings. One other way to double check the orientation is to park next to a Camry or other car and open the doors, mark the spot and follow that reference. It may appear alittle on the high side but its actually on the tangent of the door's curve.

(Gee, I wonder if after all this free advice and referencing my pic Eddie would drop his price to a more reasonable level? hmmmm, maybe $70 per set, perhaps, could be....)

    Merry Christmas everyone!

Geoff's in. Any idea what installation charges would (should) be?

Yup, that should be 16 confirmed at this point. Geoff, you need to chime in if you're in as I'm not seeing a definative answer from you yet.

I'm tentatively in. I'd just like some info on where to get them installed. Can I take it to the Toyota service center? What would that cost?

So this is a do-it-yourself-job for the non-mechanically inclined?

Ummm, I don't think it's a good project for the mechanically challenged, not so much because it's complicated, but because it really needs to be done correctly the first time. The adhesive is supposed to be very strong (Eddie will guarantee it won't fall off your car for 5 years, I believe), so if you make any kind of alignment mistake, you're stuck (literally) with it.
