My husband and I got our new 2008 Classic Silver Prius on Monday March 10th. We are lovin' it!!!! It's taking some getting used to!? We've both grabbed the windshield wiper control and tried to shift, always looking for the key to start the car and I don't need it.......probably the same thing many of you have experienced.
The ride is great! Very smooth and comfortable. We have put on about 400 miles and are averaging around 48mpg so far. We traded our Ford F-250 diesel that we were using to pull a 5th wheel RV. Can't afford that anymore!!!!!! Went out and bought an old truck to use on the ranch.
Love PriusChat.com!!!! You have been so helpful with us in making our decision to buy this car. (have been reading the forum for the last few weeks)
We look forward to learning more about our Prius from this group in the future.

I assume you've already seen my Razorback decal since you said "another"...but where are ya in Northcentral Ark.? I went to HS in Mtn. Home and my parents still live there. My wife is from Harrison. And I'll be going fishing on the White River near Norfork, as I do every year, in May.

We bought our Prius in West Plains, MO and we live about 45 miles south of there near Ash Flat/Hardy, AR area.
Drove to Mt. Home on Friday for our first "long" ride in the Prius! And when we had the 5th wheel RV we would take it to Lake Norfork and camp at the Dam-Quarry Park right below the dam. BEAUTIFUL place!!! Will miss going there! Husband enjoyed fishing in the river there.
