When I tried to inflate my MFD tires, I lost the tiny valve cap. How do I find it?

Hey, what tire pressure should the MFD tires have?;)

Do you all over-inflate these tires too? If you do, will your MPG go up? Maybe that's what everyone is missing!

April means spring=warmer weather=better mpg YAY!

The X-pattern will not work because the wheels on the passenger side have four spokes, and those on the driver side have five. The have to be kept on the same side.

Removing the trim rings does not look much better. I bought some spinners for my MFD tires.

It should be in the dash, under the MFD. Sometimes if you are lucky it ends up in the empty compartment under the JBL stereo.

What's the psi on your MFD tires Tony? I know you like to pump the others extra hard!;)

The tire changing equipment in the trunk of your car does not work when rotating the MFD tires. You will need to use your Johnson rod...

Well I think that's odd because I had a good look at my Australian MFD and the wheels on all 4 corners have 5 spokes, of course the wheels on the side facing away you can only see 3 at a time due to the offset.

I need to get the trasmission in my MFD car fixed, it goes forward when I am driving in reverse!!

The tire pressure on my MFDs is 45 bits per second -- is that normal?

Coriolis force makes Pat's wheels turn in the opposite direction from ours just like the swirling motion in his toilet is opposite ours.

Do toilets have problems flushing at the equator?
And if you are just a couple inches of feet from the equator, is the swirling action slow or sluggish?

I assume if you flush a toilet on one side of the Equator and then cross the Equator while it is still flushing that the momentum will keep the water going in the wrong direction for that hemisphere since the flush was started in the other hemisphere.

Please answer back if anyone knows, because it is already 10:31 PM here and I doubt I'll be able to get to sleep not knowing. In fact, if you know someone in another time zone who is already asleep, but you think they might know the answer, please wake them for me becase I need to know.

PS. I have an extra set of Tire Pressure Sensors for the MFD rims I will sell for $150 for the whole set. They are too small to see with the naked eye, but if anyone wants to buy them, I will ship them on a peice of transparent tape, and you can press the tape on you MFD. Becuase of their small size, Toyota desinged them for self installation using the tape transfer method. You wont actually be able to see them after the transfer, but they are there, and it gives you a secure feeling knowing you will be alerted of any low pressure tires on you MFD.

Well, if this don't just take the cake!

I have long suspected that there was a homunculus living in the MFD who
caused the display to mimic my every move, but with a slight delay.

This MFD-pixie, let's call him Prius-san, seems to have multiple duties so
he must be very good at multi-tasking: turning the wheels, calculating
iMPG and cumulative MPG, stacking up the little blocks for the Energy
screen graph, moving the GPS map so that I'm in the middle, etc. He's a
very useful fellow, my Prius-san is.

My expectation is that when my tires are rotated at the 5K mile service,
    Prius-san will do the same.

I have been reluctant to add a satellite phone because I am positive that Prius-san will find a way to get an Internet link and then he'll be
spending as much, or more, of his time goofing around on the MFD-pixie
version of PriusChat as I do the real thing when I supposed to be working.

[Like at this very moment for example!]

Thanks, that's where I found it! Initially, though, it was stuck inside the stereo itself, so I cycled through the modes (CD, AM, FM, etc.) a few times until it fell out.

I think there is less swirl (in any direction) the closer you get to the equator unless it is a design feature/flaw. Once started in one direction the swirl will want to maintain that direction because of momentum. You might notice a change in the angle if you were able to instantly teleport your toilet to the other hemissphere. I think if you flush on the equator there is a good chance that there will be no swirl.

Do toilets actually swirl there? Really and truly they just flush in a big rush of water and it goes straight down, no time for a swirl to get going.

    Seriously I'd like to know.

I know in England most of the drain plumbing was so bad most toilets I used there barely flushed at all. I can't say I paid a great deal of attention.

Oh, Singapore is almost right on the equator and the toilets there flush fine.
