Oklahoma doesn't require a front license plate, but I bought beautiful Eve in Texas and they drilled two holes in her for the front license plate holder. I would rather not have anything on the front but I don't want the two empty holes. I wouldn't mind putting a cool hybrid or Prius logo front plate on, but I don't know if there's one out there. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks, Tempus - I hadn't thought to check Ebay.

a pair of LED's (orange or yellow) in the holes wouldn't be too obtrusive.

I thought about the LEDs, too Frank - they're a neat idea. I might try those...

I wouldn't mind having a Knight Rider-type scanner attached where the front plate goes, but some of my research says it's not street-legal...

It would look cool, but they'll be gone the first time someone parallel parks in front of you. I have a clear plastic cover over the front license plate that I expect will be gone in a few weeks.

I went for the boring low-tech solution. Got some Driftwood touchup paint from the dealer and painted two screws the same color as my car. Holes filled. Now that I'm no longer obsessing about that, I must find another minor insignificant flaw on my precious Prius to focus on...or I could just enjoy it even more!

My solution is like bbridgewater's. I got a couple of shinney phillips head screws that match my silver Prius. Just two little silver bumps now. Easy and looks way better than two little holes.
