Don't forget to post pic's when complete! It'll likely look cool against that nice blue paint job.

I just put 20% all around including the small glass on the hatch, I think it looks very nice. I opted for the high end film, scratch resistant and will not interfere with electronics.

Well I did it!! Thanks to all of you for your help!! I got 35% tinting all around but I didn't do the back up camera window which seems to already have a pink tint to it. I got non-metallic so it wouldn't interfere with my XM satallite radio or the nav. system. I also added a 6 inch strip along the top of the front window.

So far I think I made a good choice. Clearly this will help with the blinding sun and heat of summer. I like the uniform look that I wouldn't get if I had made it 50/35 instead.

I also got Venture Shield on my hood, bumpers, lights, door edges and top of my spoiler. This is a thin plastic that protects the paint from road stones and nicks. It has a lifetime protection warantee. It will help keep the car looking good. Right now it looks fabulous!!!!! I have mud guards and side mouldings sitting here waiting for someone to install them.

I will take pictures when and if winter ever lets up here! Another cold and cloudy day.

I got my windows tinted today (20% all the way around) not the little window by the camera but with so many windows on a prius it looks lighter than that..I took these pics but it was raining so I will take a few more when it clears up..I think it helps the looks alot...

Are you getting this done at the Toyota dealership in your area? I'm very interested in doing the same.

No. Look in the yellow pages for window tinting. Toyota hires someone to come in and they always charge you more for everything than if you would have it done elsewhere. I just drove my new car to MS and the sun glaring in the front windshield is bright. I would recommend tinting about 12" down from the top of the window. That helps a lot. I wish I would have gone darker than 35%. It helps you see better when the sun isn't blinding you.
