The iPhone should work like other phones with bluetooth.

Mine isn't an iPhone ... yet, but when a call comes in my phone automatically picks it up and the MFD pauses my iPod. Then when you hang up your music starts playing again (assuming you had music playing to begin with).

Your iPhone should work like that.

What interface do you have to control your iPod?

Guys...my iPhone LOVES this solution. I have it plugged in to the AC under the glove-box.

I bought the version previous to this so I don't know EXACTLY how the iPhone would react, but it works great for me. The iPhone will complain about it not working with the iPhone, but the message can be closed or it closes by itself after a few seconds. The bluetooth doesn't have a problem with the iPhone and it works great as it's within reach for a quick dial.

    YMMV. :)

    Howdy:

I implemented the solution that Ad78 suggested and it works great with my iPhone. I get the "nag screen" about the airplane mode, but a simple "just say no" makes it go away and I am off and running. I do hear a very faint high pitch whine that others have mentioned so I may try to get the filter. Anyway you shake it, this is an awesome set up. I thought about the DICE system but then you are still left with only one screen to see everything. This way you have two, the MDF for all the car functions and the iPhone for music. Beauty!

    Howdy all:

I have used these for my iMac and they work great. I just ordered a set to use with the Autopilot stuff in side the armrest. It should make the space less cluttered with the cables. Just FYI.;).

Simple...since I have the flex tube bent a certain way, it doesn't even come close to it.

I use the Panavise mount along with the Dice cradle for my ipod. The dice kit does include a cradle for the iphone. (Sorry about the dirty interior, it's been way too cold to clean).

Did you ever install this? I'm wondering if you couldn't use the mount that is pictured to the let of the MFD, but mount it to the right of the MFD and have the dock connector come through that vent.

    Anyone?

edit: here's mine now. bought the metra mount @ CC for less than $3.00
indicated for sequoia and tundra but it works perfectly on prius. no need to put screw. put hold tightly :)

    sorry for the late reply.

    @ketytohwy - i'd rather post here :)

    ok, here how it goes....
first, buy the bracketron on BB for iphone holder. cost $10.99
    here is the link
    Bracketron - Vent-Mounted Cradle for Apple® iPod™ and Mobile Devices - Black - IPM-202-BL

i just did a little modification on this, i choose the ipod nano cradle but its a little bit of tight. by heating you can stretch the cradle.

here is the metra mount on CC less than $3.00
sorry blurry pics, taken on iphone

im not worried about scratch because my iphone has invisible shield and it sticks right on the cradle :)

by the way, im using this griffin autopilot.
