Does anyone know if there was an e-brochure offered for the 2005 Prius? I am buying a used one on Monday and would love to decipher the packages the car has. The car I am buying has navi but I forgot to note if it has a rearview camera. Was that offered in 05? Thanks!
Very excited to get the car!

Check out Toyota certified used vehicles. Search for a 2005 Prius and after clicking on a 2005, you should see an ebrochure link (pdf) in the upper left part of the screen.

Thanks Joe for the tip and link.

I ended up downloading 2004-2007 (and 2008 off of the current Toyota Prius site) for future reference.

The brochures are also available at toyotareference.com (but not at full size).

There was no backup camera in 2005. If you have the Nav, you have the top package (fully loaded) which is package 6.

Other things that you may miss are "mp3 cd" capability, and a higher resoloution screen on the newer ones. I thought I would miss those when I bought my '05, but hasnt been problem at all.

two more differences you will notice between yours and the newer ones are the blacked out area at the top of the taillights, and the body color grill insert, (vs chrome on the newer ones.)

Enjoy your new (to you) prius!

Thanks for all the info! I guess I can live without the rear cam.
Loving the car so far!! I drive to work 9 miles on the westbound 10 freeway in LA. Takes about 40 mins most mornings as there is no carpool lane. This morning I counted 73 gen 2 Prius and 3 gen 1 heading east. They were all leaving the Santa Monica area but I was astounded by the volume!
