    Love it so far!

    The only odd thing that's happened as of yet is when I had it in park on a completely level parking lot. I was messing around w/ the MFD & when the engine kicked on... it moved the car forward a few inches.

    I wonder, was the transmission still in drive somehow, even though the park light was on?

    Other than that, I flipped the mirror 180 degrees & it is much better.

    Oh...1 last thing I'm trying to figure out - is there a way to adjust the speedometer brightness independently from the other dash lights?
    It seems that when I lower the speedometer all the way down, they all go out completely. In order for them to go back on I have to brighten it even more. Ideally, I'd like the speedometer at the lowest setting (if not lower), and the rest at a normal level.

    The transmission is always in gear, whether in D, R, N, or P. The only difference is what you have asked the computer to do. When the engine kicks on in P, the car may rock a bit as force is applied to the parking pawl.

    The speedometer dimmer is the master dimmer for all of the dash lights (the steering wheel button lights are not adjustable.) As you dim the lights, the button lights around the MFD will dim and then go out, and then the speedometer will go out. The MFD has two sets of display settings: day and night. They are set from the display menu. Set day without your headlamps, and night with them.

    There are actually three sets;

    1. headlights off or headlights on with no dimming of dashboard lights
    2. day mode with dashboard lights dimmed
    3. without day mode with dashboard lights dimmed
    The brightness and contrast can be set separately for each of these three. You will see the day mode button when the dashboard lights are dimmed and you press the display button.
