First fill after the fuel-gauge/filler-pipe TSB, I filled up within 3 or 4 miles of the last bar starting to blink, and I got a wee bit over 8 gallons in. Temperature was right around zero, for maximum contraction of the bladder. This is a definite improvement. This time last year I was getting around 6.5 gallons in. The first bar went out at around 25 miles (it used to go out at around 50 miles) and the computer was saying 35 mpg, so it either changed what it considered the full mark, or left more room at the top.

I'll report on how much gas it burns before saying "Add gas" again in a few weeks, when it happens.

I had the work done, in spite of some mixed reports, because occasionally it has refused to accept gas.

Are you referring to some fix regarding the fuel gage or gas tank?

    What is filler pipe TSB?

EDIT: I found it in another post. However, it appears my VIN is outside the range, but I can't decipher the VIN either. I own an '05 Prius, but I am also very unhappy about the fuel gauge and refueling behavior! This was supposedly fixed in the '05s.
