Bumping this up as I also am trying to see if the plug and play XM radio will work with my 2007 Prius. I do not have the nav system and really would love to hear from anyone who has installed one. Thanks

I have the Pioneer Inno portable XM player in mine and it works fine. Is this what you mean?

Was hoping to tie it into the computer screen, maybe better just to use an external unit that runs through a radio channel as opposed to tieinh into the computer.....:frusty:

From what I understand, you'll need a Toyota / Lexus specific module to connect to your Prius. Each audio head has a different type of input, so you can't just rip a Sat module out of one and insert in another.

Thanks, looking like external unit will be the way to go.

you can have either. currently the sirius receiver and interface combo is cheaper
then the toyota xm module. the xm module does not require the interface so its
technically less labor to install it
