1st off, i'd be sure i get one, dealers are selling to the highest bidder, reports are 2-4k above msrp. doesnt matter if you put a deposit down. deposit means nada. after you get it, i would go with mud flaps, rear bumper guard, side moldings and possibly a good paint sealent especially to the front

Get the out-the-door price in writing when you pay the deposit.

Adding stuff? It doesn't need anything except maybe more air in the tires. And snow tires if appropriate.

For starters get the things needed to protect your brand new look. Then get the fun stuff!

    Ventureshield
    Mud flaps
    Paint sealant/wax
303 Aerospace protectant (for your interior dash/plastic - spf 40 for your stuff)
    skid plate
    side moldings
    door trims
    weathertech floor/cargo liners
    MFD protector
    seat covers
    ...

By the way. Congrats on your order. What year/edition/package are you receiving?

Nothing. There is nothing you need to add. Maybe a 12V compressor to carry in the back, and a swiffer for cleaning the dash. LCD cleaning fluid and a micro-fiber cloth for the MFD. That's about it.

Good to read comments to the "Newbie" I am a newbie too. Just put down a deposit on a 2008 Spectra Blue package 2. I got this because of both the lower price than a package 4, and really all I wanted was the blue tooth hands free for my cell phone. Now I am looking for the best aftermarket product and fit for my car. Also wandering where to mount it.

    thanks for your help!

Tires. 195R60s. Best quality you can get.

Don't get any of the extras, e.g. paint sealant, from the dealer. You can do better elsewhere.

Then consider the car a blank canvas for artistic expression. Monochrome=boring.
