Thanks for sharing. Ask yourself, Who has done more to bankrupt the US, Bush or Chavez? Who has done more to subvert the Constitution?

    BP
    Chevron
    Arco
    Texaco

All good brands... there are some small companies also.

    However:

Anyone that buys Citgo or Valero supports the supporters of those that mean us harm. When they've run out of koolaid they still won't get it.

Outside of the political discussion here...how do people feel about Arco? They are the cheapest in town and many urban legends on the net say their gas is low quality. I've been avoiding it but am wondering if I really need to.

My experience is it depends on the make of car.

My Vette drinks most anything and is happy with it.

The Wife's Plymouth Voyager has the O2 sensor fail after two tanks of Arco gas... I fix that by running a tank of Shell premium or midgrade (Techron) and the "Service Engine Soon" light goes out.

Both cars are fuel injected types, but the parts are from different vendors and are not the same design or placement in the motor...

I think it may also have something to do with the individual station... one of the stations my wife gets gas from has been cited for putting oils in the gas and selling it as regular... really sucks that the law lets them get away with a little fine and leaves them alone until they get another complaint from a customer.

Yikes. I think I'm not going to take the risk, even if I end up paying an extra 10 cents a gallon for no reason. Thanks for your comment as it made up my mind.
