how do i add a greenhybrid siggie thingy?

Thanks very much Treehuggergeorge.... With your advice, and that of others, I've finally got the two different logos appearing correctly. Trick is apparantly to copy the greehbybrid signature code and then delete after the car # in their code all the remainder and ADD: /signature.png[/img]. This gets out the damnable ".png" which this PruisChat site doesn't like...! Thank again! You folks are so helpful!!! (Just got in from the garage and was able to test the voltage, etc. with that 3 times headlights on and off thing. Earlier had eliminated the damnable back-up and seat belt beeps....) Very helpful site and I'm going to enjoy the Prium so much more now that I can get my newbie questions answered so quickly and efficiently...! Got to run as the UPS just clicked in on a power outage and here we go with yet another coastal Maine storm.... My weather station shows 35 knots of wind, temp falling rapidly into the 20's, freezing rain has changed to driving snow, and, woopee, another normal winter night here at the 'end of the world...' I am having a similar problem with my signature and that it only shows up when i am logged in. When I log out the signature does not show up on my post. Is that how it should work?

Not sure what you mean. Your signature is showing on your post now and you are not logged in.

I don't even see your signature until I login. After I login I see everyone who has a sig.

I don't know why.

EDIT: It must have something to do with my login

It's not just you - it happens with me too - not sure why - maybe something to do with cookies being cleared when you log off? I just stay logged in and have no worries.

 

Looks like Priuschat doesn't show anyone's signature to you if you're not logged in.

Something you might consider is making your signature linkable. If you click on mine, it takes you to the GreenHybrid page for my car. The code is

Just replace the two instances of "5406" with the number for your car.

Ah, you're probably using the boards "Advanced interface", which allows stuff like pasting color text, which goofs up the code. I'm using the "Standard" editor.

No, I don't type it in every time, it's in the signature in the User CP. Try going into Edit Options then in the Miscellaneous section change it to the standard editor. Go to the signature editor and see if you can set it then. You can then change your editor back.

The WYSIWYG editor has trouble with more complex editing.
