I would make sure about the tag (ask others here if they have them), then tell the dealer you want new seats. Tell them in writing, date the letter, keep a copy. You might even send it registered/return receipt. I wouldn't accept their claim they are in there. Remind them of their liability. That tag shold be there if they are genuine Toyota air bag seats.

Are all seat mounted side airbags having little tags indication? I am not having mine comparing to my friend's car?

The tag (kind of like a Levi’s tag) is on the door side of the seatbacks where the seat belt buckle hangs when not in use. If it is not there and your car absolutely should have come with the bags installed (not all Prius package models have side airbags), DEMAND the dealer have new seats installed! The tag is not a badge of honor, it is a warning for emergency personnel and anyone thinking of covering the seats. If the tags are not there, that is a sign of poor workmanship/quality control.

Another way to find out if you have seat air bags is simple. Just slide the seat to its forward(or backwards stop) and look under it. If you find a corogated plastic wire covering, yellow, running from the floor up into the seat, you have airbags. All the SRS (airbag) wiring is run inside these yellow coverings so as to stay away from the normal vehicle wiring and be easily noticed by techs. Also never unplug a SRS connector without waiting about 5 minutes after disconnecting the 12 volt battery. Wouldn't want to set one off

Steps to check for side airbags:

    1) Power up your Prius and exit the vehicle.

    2) Get in to another vehicle.

    3) Point alternate vehicle at Prius door approximately 20' away.

    4) Start alternate vehicle, put it in gear, and stomp the accelerator to the floor.

    5) Put alternate vehicle in reverse and stomp on the accelerator again to break free of Prius.

    6) Look in Prius for side airbag. Another tell tale sign would be the puff of white powder when you open the door.

    :D
