Prius & Yoga

    I am a filmmaker and I just purchased a new Prius.

    In fact i am just releasing a film on living a better life through the practice of yoga.

    I regard my recent Prius purchase as an important personal choice in a more ecologically conscious yogic lifestyle. It truly gives me joy every mile i drive seeing how much more i can honor and stretch the use of each drop of oil. The energy - consumption screen are a meditation opportunity.

    There are clips online from my film Y Yoga... Even wrestler DDP Diamond Dallas Page teaching yoga to soldiers in Iraq!

    Y Yoga will be available online July 2008.

    Please email me pictures of you doing yoga poses with Prius in frame. I would love a collection of Prius Yogis and Yoginis. Also please share your thoughts about the online clips after you have check them out.

    Thank you for checking out the clips online...

    What u saw was exactly how it happened, unscripted and in the moment... It was Friday afternoon and we were filming on a corner in Santa Monica, CA... As we filmed, just in back of us a car slammed into another...

    What made the moment so amazing was that the yoga teacher i was interviewing had such a yogic response to the moment.

    I knew in that moment that the car accident and the beautiful moment that followed would be the films opening.

    The teacher is Adriano and he is from Brazil.

    I watched the 8-minute clip and a bit of the Shiva Rhea clip. Good stuff! I especially appreciated Shiva's saying about being, rather than doing.

    I've practiced on and off for years, now. Your films reminded me that I'd like to get back to it... right away. Thanks. I'd like to see the film when it comes out.

    I started to do yoga 2 years ago as part of the P90X program from Beachbody. It is amazing how much sweat will leave your body by doing all the different poses. Very rewarding for flexibility too! I will send you some pics next week when I get home.
