    WoW!

From that display of rudeness, I wouldn't doubt it if the writer comes to the conclusion that Hummer drivers are more sociable than trollish Prius drivers.

I think this is going to be on the news tonight. Advert for the local CBS news said "Date Dr. tells you what your car says about you." No way there could be two reporters doing this. It must be syndicated and our local picked it up. Might stay up and watch it to see what they say about the Prius.

    Okay. That wasn't it.

A local guy interviewed a local "Date Dr.".

    Nothing new.

Bling and sports cars don't attract women. They see you as a player and unreliable.

Gas Guzzlers and Trucks indicate insecurity and trying to compensate for something lacking.

The reporter drove a Honda Accord. She (Date Dr.) said it shows he was boring and safe but steady and not afraid of commitment. He says he drives it because it's reliable and gets good gas mileage. And he's not planning on trading it in unless his wife makes him drive a minivan.

There was a quick glimpse of a white Prius as the camera was panning from one truck to the next in a parking lot. But no mention.

I have found I get more dates in the year to date I have owned the Prius than in each of the 3 preceding years.

Just in the last 4 months from February 28 to June 27 this year I had 1 additional date over and above the same 4 month period last year when I didn't have a Prius.:cheer2::cheer2:

Would you like to know the name of the extra date?

    Do ya?

Well do you really want to know?

Promise you won't tell my wife?

    it was February 29:humble:

Not sure about other hybrids, but I thought I saw a survey somewhere which showed that the average age for Prius owners is somewhere in the 40-50 range. Which probably means most are past the 'dating' stage.

<groan> I was afraid of something like this. ;)

Yah, know, there's some things that are just so easy as to be wrong. Deeply, deeply wrong....

However, I do wonder if you're related to my father.....

I have all kinds of people at work asking to drive my car. Also if we have to carpool anywhere, "Let's go in Kate's car!"

My husband, who initially made fun of me for buying it (used), now has what I call "Prius envy."

    It's pretty cool :)

This thread, from a "one time only" poster, where they're simply posting a poll as (ostensibly) a marketing ploy ... how is it, that it just seems to keep rolling along :p

In seriousnous, I don't think the Prius is a "chick magnet" per se.

However I do think the Prius does help break the ice and stimulate conversation, much like a dog does. Where you take it from there is your....opportunity.
