    Hello everybody,

my name is Katharina. I'm a business administration student and currently working on my thesis about "Hybrid Cars in the USA" :typing:!

Therefore I need you help :)

I created an online survey to collect as much information as possible.

Please participate in my survey. It only takes 5 minutes of your time and at the end you have the possibility to sign in for a raffle for three $ 20 vouchers from Amazon.com. Your answers will be completely anonymous!

    Hybrid cars in the USA

    Thank you very much!

    Katharina

Just took the survey and hope many others do as well. I think that the more the data is made broadly available, the greater the interest and analysis of all kinds that is done, the better the quality of analysis and information there is in the end. Good luck to the author.

Just took it as well... would you consider posting the survey results here once it is completed?

    Thanks,

    ~Tom

Thank you. That was a very good survey. I think you covered everything very well. Can't think of any suggestions for improvements.

I, too, would be interested in the results.

Nice survey. On the question where she asked "what are you doing for the environment" I responded among other things "voting for anyone but a republican". A little tung in cheek but.....

A good research student wouldn't jeopardize the results by email exploitation and thievery. If she has posted this twice, she may be trying to get more data. To create higher reliability as a researcher, you need high numbers. The higher the numbers, the more convincing the argument. A grad student myself, I appreciate what Katharina is doing and we should support her. The gift certificates are incentives to encourage participation. Many projects are so boring (and long), a grad student has to come up with funding to compensate the survey taker, but this survey is actually fun and the data may end up in a journal if she does good work! So I wouldn't worry too much if I were you!

The e-mail is optional. You don't have to leave it.

I didn't mean to infer you were attacking researchers at all. Please forgive me?? Nobody likes leaving their email address, myself included. In fact, I have a junk box for just such an occasion! So I guess you really don't know if the person is the real thing or just out to spam you later. I took the survey - seemed legit and the email address is optional. Katharina hasn't responded to comments so I will assume she is busy collecting results right now:rolleyes:

Giving your email address was optional. I chose to take the survey, but I did not provide my email address. (btw, if I was going to provide an email address, I would have used my alias email address. Everyone that I know has one alias email that they can use for purposes like this - if you don't know if you are going to receive spam or not)

Nice survey. What other websites/areas are part of your focus group? Did you post a link to your survey on Youtube? If you haven't used Youtube in a while, I can inform you that you should be able to receive a lot of traffic from Youtube if you post a decent video. You don't even have to be in the video. Write on a piece of paper and film it for 30 seconds, along with some photos/magazine pictures of hybrid cars. You will get viewers/traffic. Good luck.
What is your major? What is your focus group? Just from Prius websites, or from many sources around the internet? Good luck.
