Just sitting stopped at a light...and WHAM!!!

    So sorry for your accident, but glad everyone is OK.

    LOL re your daughter's comment about your language.

    Reminds me of an incident with me and my own daughter.

    One day I was driving in New York City with my wife and my then two (near three) year old daughter in her child car seat in the rear seat. All of a sudden, I hear my daughter exclaim to my wife:

    "Mom! Daddy's talking to the donkey again!"

    Made me realize immediately where kids might first pick up foul language (among other bad -- and good -- things).

    My dad always taught me that driving is an art form. The number of people who apparently haven't taken art lessons is astounding...I don't know what people are doing when driving, but it seems like fewer and fewer are watching the roads.

    Sorry to hear about your accident, Naptown. I'm glad you and your daughter are alright.

    I use one camera for forward only. The backwards one would be pretty hard to turn on. Also the FOV is pretty limited.

    I may actually get a better DVR system since this has happened. One with a permanently mounted forward and rearward camera. I see some systems that cost about $700 total online. The kind motorcyclist or street racers use to record their escapades.
