I like Lenny Kravitz for driving. It's upbeat to counteract my tendency to want to fall asleep in the car. (That and Cokes)

 

Queen and CCR are my weapons of choice for roadtrips with the friends.

 

Not sure what you mean by "car music".

The stuff I listen to would certainly put you to sleep, as it is New Age instrumental or could be called Contemporary Instrumental.
(I like music from "The Well" and "Night Crossings", both are public radio shows, one in California, the other in Kansas)

I also listen to Eros Rammazoti, who has a huge European following, but it's mostly in Italian language.

Love it. I was excited to get XM radio in my baby 'cause there's a Led Zeppelin 24/7 station...only to find out it's currently off air. Bummer, but it is supposed to return later this year. In the meantime "Top Tracks" on channel 46 will have to do.
