    Hi Nate,

Thanks so much for taking the time to post this procedure. I was wondering now that some time has gone by if you can confirm everything is still working to your satisfaction.

I'd very much like to utilize your method but am wary of cutting that hole (have never used a dremel). Could you approx. the size in inches of that hole? How long did it take to cut and do you need a high quality dremel / attachments? Can it be smaller than the one you cut if now that the XMicro is being used? How long does it take to cut a hole like that? Can someone who's never used a dremel probably do it without ruining the body (either car's or mine?)

I'm also having a little trouble referencing your pics with the text of your description. If it's not too much trouble, perhaps you could cut and paste your excellent text description into a new reply and then add in the titles of the pics where appropriate (or just pic numbers after establishing the order by identifying a couple as "pic 1 is..." and "pic 8 is ...".) I guess the problem I'm having is that the pics are so close up it's hard for me to establish a reference.

One thing that worries me is running the wire near an airbag? Where exactly is that? I don't think I read anything in the text about the airbag.

Lastly, the connection from the receiver to the head unit: what type of (wires) are involved and was whatever came with the kit sufficient?

Thanks again for posting all this.

The left rear side airbag is in the pillar, about parallel to the rear seat passenger's head.
The front airbag is in the bolster of the driver's seat. Stay away from them!

I've been plagued by a noise problem with my S50 when using the aux connector, which is forcing me to try all sorts of things.

How can I see Nate's pictures? I don't think they are in his profile

I'm extremely interested in this. Has anybody else tried it? And with what results? How's your reception?

    Thank you,
