Is it possible to put a after market stereo in, yet use the GPS with screen, and voice?

In other words, two systems, one set of speakers? With out a a/b switch?

    Or am I nuts?

Doesn't the GPS sound only come from 1 speaker? ... or is that the MFD beeps? I think it was the driver's side front speaker that was utilized. If this is the case, you could install an aftermarket stereo, and re-wire the gps/mfd sound output to the center speaker or something.

Hmm. That might work. It's an idea. Any others?
