I've been monitoring this and other sites for about a year now looking for the same thing that dozens if not hundreds of other people are looking for, A Verizon Cell phone that will work with Toyota's Bluetooth features. Sure, the Motorola 710 had great promise, but alas poor implementation.

I’ve just finished a long meeting with one of Verizon’s data guys. He’s going to drop off a brand new Audiovox XV6600 Pocket PC phone for me to test out. He freely admits that all other Verizon Bluetooth phones have many limitations programmed into the Bluetooth features, but claims this unit is completely “openâ€. He further claims that this is and will remain the only open phone even the Treo 650 will have inherent limitations.
Certainly worth a try, and since my company has about 100 different cell accounts, he’s trying to be pretty straight with me. A second release of this unit in a month or so will include a camera, but still no wi-fi. BT will have to do but frankly it's what I pine for right now.
I should have the new phone in a week or so, I’ll post my results on this site ASAP. Thanks for all the great info I’ve received from this site, I hope to be able to give some back....bkmurf

Testing done. Same issues as other phones I've heard about. Single contact transfer only, corrupt data in phonebook if there are any symbols such as - or (.
It was nice to play with the phone for a bit though. It is possible to make calls via on-screen dialing. later you can put these numbers into specific "One Touch" dialing lists. If you can remember that you put your partners cell number in slot three, you can use one touch dialing and place calls.
Otherwise, wait for a better phone.
