You could put every gadget in the world on the car and you know what you'd have - a more expensive Prius. I say "No thank you." I'll take mine as is:)

The reason I don't turn my Headlights on during the day is that it dims the LCD display and no I am not having a problem turning my headlights on (my electric bill is fine at home also).

Maybe my problem is I am willing to pay more for the luxuries. I would recommend a Package 7 for people like me! Once again the Prius is a great car and I would recommend it to others.

If you added all of the features mentioned it would cost no more then $100 - $200. I'll meet you half way and say that for the price they charge for leather they should have at least given a more adjustable drivers seat.

If you turn the dashboard lights all the way up until it clicks, it will illuminate the LCD & odometer to their daylight levels.

Personally, when I'm driving in a city or busy area during the day, I at least put my parking lights on. The more visible the better.
Otherwise, I just leave them off.

The other three vehicles in my garage have all of those bells and whistles -- auto on lamps, heated seats, premium sound with CD changers, leather, etc. I thought I needed all of that when I put my name on the list for a Prius, but you can't get most of them. After we got the Prii we decided that we must have been crazy -- nothing wrong with the car as equipped.

I would like a height adjustable seat though.... and I know the wife is going to miss heated seats this winter. :( We'll survive.

Yeah, my other car has all the bells and whistles. The power seat with driver memory would be great. I have heated seats in my ohter car, but never use them. Could be becuase I live in southern Arizona.

Since I only get two wishes:
    1. Six passenger capability. (Not sure how with the current width...other than a station wagon = longer/heavier.)
    2. ECU controlled shutters for the grill to reduce warm up time/maintain coolant temps. If well implemented might even augment aero slightly.

If someone granted a third wish...
    3. Plug in capability that allowed EV, kept the 12 V auxiliary battery charged, served as programmable block heater, and allowed a battery charge using throttle profile switch (for the last mile or two or three before parking and plugging in.)
