Auto123 has posted 3 new 2010 Toyota Prius spy photos taken by a gentleman with a camera phone recently. The 2nd photo confirms the interior that we have seen in other spy photos. PriusChat will have a gallery of all of the 2010 spy photos soon so that you don't have to search through multiple threads to find them all :)

Also, if you look at the right rear quarterpanel you'll see a spot in the camo for a "gas tank" door. Looking through prior Toyota Plug-In photos, this is the same spot where the plug is located. Could Toyota be street testing a plug-in 2010 Prius already?

Very interesting... The rims are new... we've never seen those before. It looks very much like the current rims with a cut at the edges. It should be lighter.

The instrument panel looks pretty spartan and where the mfd? Do you think they leave such stuff out of a test car?

Wheels on this version look a lot smaller than the previous spy photos. Can't wait to see the final product.

i really don´t like the dashboard.
and yes i think its a plugin!!!

maybe to make the new prius cheaper there is a option for the MFD and like the camry a simple little battery state monitor.

Yea, that one has a simple radio instead of MFD. This shot is the prior one showing what seems to be a cheap monochrome MFD.

The rims seem to be the same 15".

I don't think I like the looks of the full body bra. :p

I wonder how much of an MPG hit the car takes due to bad aerodynamics.

Was Robin driving? It didn't look like Batman, but was obviously his vehicle.

Dashboard/Console is terrible. I hate the cockpit styles of late, what I like best is the airiness of current style.

Those wings / fins by the hatch looks interesting. Is it part of the camo or real?

I enjoy the look of the 5 spoke wheels below. I think they have a more upscale look.

I hope they leave the MFD out of the production car. Why complicate a simple task with a touchsceen?

In the current Prius the radio control are in 3 places: Steering wheel, radio, MFD

The climate controls are in 2 places: Steering wheel and MFD. Though you have to use the MFD to turn the A/C off to allow use of the fan without A/C

Hopefully the future Prius will have controls where they belong; on the dash.

omg... they're going the "you want the Energy Monitor, buy our Navigation system" route??? I hope not. The MFD helped me fine-tune my driving and I don't think a lot of people would be happy if they were forced to buy the navigation system.

Also, Danny good point. Toyota fuel gaps are usually on the left side.

Jhinton, the new Prius will have a separate section for the climate control below the screen/radio. Look at the other spyshot with the "full" dashboard shown.

Hmm ok after staring at the front for a while, you can start to make out the shape of the hood/bumper/grille. I do not know if I like it. It sorta looks similar to the Yaris. Any thoughts?

I don't think its terrible, just a large waste of space under that center console where the shifter is. The airiness of the current style is great and that middle floor spot is perfect for a bag/laptop for the passenger during family roadtrips. Right now it doesn't look to have as much storage space, but you really can't know from these pictures.

Oh, and those mesh sections over the lights can not be street legal.

    Hi All,

I am just appauled by that new shifter location, and the center council. STUPID!!!!! There, I said it again!!!

The fins are actually something I proposed some time ago in aerodynmics discussion on Prius chat here. They could improve the aero a bit, but could also be Toyota watching this list and just trying to get GM to put fins on their Volt.
