Yay ... Look at my Baby ...Took Delivery Today

    The wait is over....ready to be a driver and learn the in's and out's of Prius Ownership first hand. SOOOOOOOOO Happy and Excited. Hello to All ~ Looking forward to lots of great driving and learning...Any suggestions or input is welcome.

    If anyone in the greater Houston area has had a 3M type of covering put on their Prius, please share your experience with me...

    Also, has anyone bought and utilized the pre - paid maintenance that is also offered through Prius Chat?

    Drive an average of 50k to 70k per year and would appreciate your experience and suggestions.

    Looking forward to being a part of the Prius Family

    I don't see the picture, either, but congratulations on your new Prius. I purchased the prepaid maintenance here through priuschat and have been really happy with it. I called my dealer's maintenance department first to make sure they take the prepaid maintenance coupons. I also like that it includes roadside assistance, so I don't need to pay another company for roadside assistance during the prepaid maintenance period.

    Stan, the leather was $1300 and was installed at the port and includes Liquicill which is suppossed to make the seats more comfortable.

    Another Newbie Question: There was suppossed to be a pad or guard outside of the hatch back area to protect it from scrapes as you load or unload items from the rear of the car...upon delivery there was a clear plastic piece for protection outside of the hatch back area on the lip to prevent scratching while pulling things in and out of the hatchback versus the black heavy rubber guard seen on many of the vehicles in the dealership ...mentioned to dealership, they found a black rubber guard, but state it is not a Toyota product....Input or information from anyone regarding this?

    Love my Prius...driving today the screen is showing 45.3 mpg as the average....hope to improve that as I learn about the glide and other Prius skills.
