It says blue but I don't know if that would be spectra blue.

The part number for a Spectra Blue Mica bumper cover cap is 52127-47010 J1

fchen, after you buy the replacement please comment on how closely the color matches the paint on the bumper.

Don't leave the replacement installed in the bumper.

Well, if you install it, there's a chance that it might get stolen again. Therefore, the safest action is to purchase it so that you have it but not install it. That way you know you will never lose it.

Of course, you could always just pop one off another Spectra Blue Prius. That's what I told the last guy.

Never had to remove mine yet, but now I'm curious. How's it done?

You have to pry it out with a screwdriver from the top edge. I would wrap some tape around the screwdriver if you don't want to mess the paint up. There is also a little tether built into the cap to keep it from wandering off if it were to come loose somehow.

You can get it off with fingernails, if you have really strong fingernails.

No, it's not a joke. The tow eyelet should be kept inside the car until it is needed, so that (wait for it) it doesn't get stolen. Besides, leaving it in the bumper looks dorky.

I think the OP was complaining that the little painted circular plug on the front bumper cover was stolen - not the towing eyelet which normally lives in the black plastic tray below the hatch floor.

Can't believe people are stealing the eyelet plug these days......maybe the next thing is the Wheel Trim Rings, and then HSD emblem. Geez....

I'm giving others the ideas what can potentially be stolen.
So they can either buy dup or pull it out like the eyelet plug on the defensive....(j/k) :D
