. . . that this morning I saw Optimus Prime walking to work."

I'm not sure where that came from but when I tried it out on my wife, her response was, "I don't know who that is." I know someone here will appreciate it.

So now it's your turn. Finished the sentence.

. . . that after a tour in Iraq, Optimus couldn’t bring himself to use another drop of foreign oil.
(That is why TonyP saw him walking to work.)

It's been so long since I've even come close to a $20 fill-up It will feel really strange to do so again. Of course I usually fill-up at the 3 segment point anyway, so it might have to hit $3.50 to $4.00 range before I actually have to spend a $20.

Careful son, or you'll be sleeping on the couch with the cats for the next month.

Or she might get so angry that she gives you an Emergency Roadside Bobbittectomy while you're riding in her Tahoe.

The horror ... the horror ...

... that Exxon announced today the addition of a "credit history" slot beside the regular card scanner... and promised "while-you-wait" approval for SUV owners up to $10,000 credit line.
An industry insider commented on condition of anonymity that "at 21%, it'd just be cheaper to get one of them hybrids".
